What This Page Is For

Use this page when upgrading from Compliance Essentials 2.1.1 to 3.0.1

Major Upgrade Notes

Compliance Essentials 3.0.1 is a major redesign. The active app experience only supports CMMC 2.0, NIST RMF Rev. 4, and NIST RMF Rev. 5. for now.

Upgrade Steps

1. Back up the existing app and relevant KV store data.
2. Install the 3.0.1 app package.
3. Open Manage apps
4. Locate Compliance Essentials and click Setup
5. Run App Setup to seed required data and refresh navigation.
6. Review Framework Setup and enable the frameworks you plan to use.
7. Refresh the page and navigate to Compliance Essentials on the top left of the navigation bar
8. Existing system boundaries, audit entries, and activity logs are still viewable in the dashboards under the Under Menu. These dashboards will eventually be removed the app in future releases.

Navigation After Upgrade

If a user has a local navigation file from an older version, the default app navigation may not automatically appear. Run App Setup to refresh the active navigation.
