Compliance Essentials 3.0.1 includes domain-focused monitoring dashboards and a Saved Search Inventory for configuring scheduled compliance searches.

Active Monitoring Flow

1. Review domain dashboards for operational visibility.
2. Configure saved searches in Saved Search Inventory.
3. Link searches to controls.
4. Enable searches for system boundaries.
5. Set schedule, lookback, and thresholds.
6. Review run output in Evidence Run Explorer.
7. Use Control Health and Compliance Posture to review status.

Dashboard Guidance

Monitoring dashboards are intended for operational review and investigation. Evidence and posture workflows are driven by configured searches, evidence run output, control status summary, assessments, and system boundary applicability.

Search Requirements

Searches should:

• Use CIM data models where possible.
• Avoid non-existent custom indexes.
• Include result field mappings for assets, identities, sources, destinations, and details where applicable.
• Write evidence results to idx_compliance_results.
