Supported Frameworks

Compliance Essentials 3.0.1 supports the following active frameworks:

• CMMC 2.0
• NIST RMF Rev. 4
• NIST RMF Rev. 5

Legacy framework experiences outside CMMC and NIST RMF are not part of the active 3.0.1 app experience.

Framework Setup

Use Framework Setup to enable or disable supported frameworks. Enabled frameworks appear in selectors across System Boundaries, Compliance Posture, Control Health, Control Detail, Assessments, and Saved Search Inventory.

Profiles and Baselines

Framework profiles define selectable baselines or levels. System boundaries can be scoped to frameworks and profiles.

The target baseline on a system boundary controls the default baseline shown in Compliance Posture. It does not remove the ability to view other baselines where applicable controls exist.

RMF Metadata

NIST RMF controls can display:

• CIA categorization
• CCI identifiers
• RMF-specific control metadata

These displays depend on Settings and the related mapping data.
