Monitoring Dashboard reference for the Splunk Add-on for F5 BIG-IP

To view the monitoring dashboard, follow the steps:

1. Select the Search & Reporting app.
2. Select Dashboards.
3. Select F5BigIp Monitoring Dashboard.

To add the monitoring dashboard to your home view, follow the steps:

1. Select the Search & Reporting app.
2. Select Dashboards.
3. Select Edit in the F5BigIp Monitoring Dashboard section.
4. Select Set as home dashboard.

Optional filters

Filter	Description
Time	Select the time range to view
Index	Filter based on indexes
Sourcetypes	Filter for source types of events

Visualization panels

Panel	Description
Add-on version	Identifies the Add-on version.
Total number of events	Displays the exact count of events that are ingested in various indexes.
Event count	Displays events ingestion count per time span.
Distributions of events by index	Displays the distribution of events that are ingested among various indexes.
Distributions of events by index	Displays the distribution of events that are ingested among various indexes.
Events ingested by sources	Displays event distribution from various\sources over a specific time range.
CIM-supported events	Displays a count of events that are mapped with relevant data models. This requires installation of Splunk CIM https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1621
