Version 11.0.1 of the Splunk Add-on for Microsoft Windows was released .

Note

The Splunk Add-on for Windows DNS version 1.0.1 and the Splunk Add-on for Windows Active Directory version 1.0.0 are not supported when installed alongside the Splunk Add-on for Microsoft Windows versions 6.0.0 and higher. The Splunk Add-on for Microsoft Windows versions 6.0.0 and higher includes the Splunk Add-on for Windows DNS and the Splunk Add-on for Microsoft Active Directory.

Remove version 11.0.0 XML extraction overrides

When upgrading from version 11.0.0, remove all REPORT-00xml_ie_exclude settings from local/props.conf. These settings were associated with the optional hybrid XML extraction presets and are not compatible with version 11.0.1.
